CapKin is completely free while we're in beta. There are no paid tiers today, no card required to sign up, and no trial that runs out. We have not announced paid plans yet; if that changes, this page will be updated first.

The first 100 households to join get CapKin free for life and help shape what we build next. When we do add paid plans, founding households keep the free tier — no surprises.
What's included
- Voice and text expense entry.
- An overall monthly cap with per-category caps.
- Owner, member, and capture-only child roles, with owner approval of children's entries.
- Built-in money lessons and quizzes for kids.
- One currency per household, from any ISO 4217 currency.
- An installable web app (PWA) — no app store required.
No hidden costs
There is no bank connection and no debit card, and no fee for adding household members or children. CapKin does not move money, so there are no transaction fees — it is a tracking and planning tool, not a financial account.
